How can I fix my Canon Digital Ixus 70?

My camera is working but the picture is not displayed on the LCD . I cannot see previous pictures either. There is a modern art type picture of flowers i think. This picture can also be detected on the blank screen when the camera is switched off

This is some sort of breakage on the LCD itsrlf which will have to be replaced.
