LE is flashing on my LG front load washing machine,what's wrong?

When I load the washer and turn it on, the load gets wet then stops and beeps several times. Then it flashes LE, and won't do anything else from there. I try to restart the whole deal and it does the same thing. What's wrong?

Indicates a fault with the door lock.
Easiest and quickest option is to replace the interlock switch.

Take model number down, go on line to LG and download service manual.
It should give you fault code, the reason and remedial action.
