Weslo g-30 will suddenly stop randomly , sometimes it will work for 15-20 minutes just fine , next time it will stop after a few seconds . If I run the speed back to zero and start again it will work and maybe not stop again til next time .The display showing time , distance , speed keeps running even though the belt has stopped . Belt not slipping . No smell of any kind.

I have G-40. I am seeing same problem, for temporarily relief I disconnected TACH connector (in the circuit board) which is connected with REED Switch. By disconnecting REED Switch from circuit board you probably won't see actual speed in the display panel. Do little experiment before using it without REED switch connected as load/no-load may change motor's behavior.
