Where the source wheel mounts, the stud that goes throught the center of the reel is to big to mount 8 mm reels. It currently fits the larger holes of the Super 8mm. How does it convert from super 8 to 8mm?

I believe on this projector press, the metal spring clip on the front spindle, and it should pull off exposing the regular 8mm spindle. The rear spindle does not come off, but the take-up reel that comes withe the projector should be able to handle either super-8 of regular 8mm.
