The machine run it's normal wash (although smelt a bit of burning at the beginning when the heater kicked in). Then as it finished I switched it off as normal but the on/off light never actually went off - normally it takes a minute or so. Even switched off at the mains I cannot release the door. I now have a machine full of washing that I cannot get to. Please help....

hi yes you can remove the rubber seal to the window and with a small lenght of wire pull up the rod connecting to the door mechanism
this needs to be done fast as the alarm will go off if it has one kind regards Mel
