hello, i have a lexmark x1190 thats worked perfectly until now. i have just changed computers, the new one is a compaq pressario sr5500fr and runs on windows vista. Try as i might I can't get it to work !! The computer seems to know that the printer is there as it tells me there are jobs waiting to be printed....but it won't print and i get messages such as " impossible to communicate with printer " has anyone any ideas advice ??? please...

Yes, you have used the wrong drivers. Download the correct drivers for your printer/Operating System combination from www.lexmark.com.
