Check you sponcers on the side of the craft. If they drop down even alittle they will kill alot of your speed. Raise them all the way up then try again.They are only for turnning sharp. You can still turn fine with them up.

very expensive mate but if i was u i would just stick a load of NOS in the engine which will give it a good push past 40 mph
