Hotpoint Aquarius 1100 motor problems?

Our Machine has been stored in the garden for 6 months. It was completely sealed inside plastic wrapping but condensation was on everything inside when i tried to get it going earlier today. I have tried to dry out all the electrical components, using a hair dryer, being careful not to overheat anything. The machine seems well but, everytime the machine tries to run the motor, it trips our House ELCB (Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker) With the motor disconnected, everything else seems to function normally.

I tried drying out the windings with the haidryer for some considerable time, but it does it every time.

Is the motor knackered, or does it need to dry out more ?

Would you put your telly outside for 6 months then bring it in and hope it works or would you store it in a dry enviroment its likey the motor is beyond repair and for around 70 pounds you can get a replacement then find something else has either seized or damaged or get another machine reconditioned for the same price. wrapping electrical items in plastic draws condensation so its likely you need to scrap it and get another
