When you replace a control board or the display board you must programme the control board and tell it what size machine it is. Fault code 9 means no size set. Turn power on at wall but off at machine. Hold down fabric care button & push power on button. Let the two buttons go & you should have machine size setup on the LCD screen. Set machine to 7kg by pressing button next to the 7. Turn power off at the control panel & the size will be automatically locked in to memory. Put power back on & do your washing. One word of caution, I hope you know what caused the other control to fail & have removed the problem.
