simpson eziset 605 wont start?

i just got it, but its a fatory second with no instructions all the lights are lit up but wont start when i press start?

SP means the start pause button has been pressed. I think the LD means the lid is not closed properly. Maybe the lid switch needs a little adjustment.

yes it has a warranty but im not sure if im doing something wrong... it says LD then the time the wash will take and also says sp and the time aswell i think the sp is when its paused...i will call the shop tomorrow i was just hopeing to get it working tonight

Factory second or not, if you just bought it it should have some form of guarantee. Get the shop to sort it out. The goods you buy have to be fit to do the job unless they specifically sold it to you as is where is.
