WD12S Washer - not enough water??

Hi all

Someone gave us a washer and I fitted it ONLY to the cold water and not using the hot water. I noticed when washing there isnt enough water level in the drum when it in washing cycle.

Then I saw in manual it stated have to have both inlet connected - so yesterday I fitted hot water to that but it did not make any difference.

When washing, in the drum, there isnt water 'splashing' about just that the clothes just wet thats it. Is it supposed to be like this??

I believe there should be plenty of water in the drum during the cycle? What error is this and what do I need to fix?

Thanks

yeah but the clothes does not get washed properly - there's no water at the bottom of the door seal at all. I have never seen any water splashing about like many other washers I have seen and used.

This model is 6 years old so I dont think this is one of the AAA rating washers?

The feeling here is that how can they wash the clothes as there's no 'spare' soapy water to do the washing as the water used is just enough to make the clothes wet and then the drum just turn!

washers don`t use as much water these days only enough to come up to the bottom of the door seal it`s how they get aaa rating less water = less heating.
