ryobi cs30 trimmer will not start no gas coming to cylinder?

tried starting but no dice put clean fuel in,cleaned spark arrester, no leaks,externally.put gas in cylinder by removing spark plug,fire up put dies when out of fuel. primer works fine . any ideas.

Sounds like the diaphragm in the carburettor has a hole in it. The diaphragm acts as the fuel pump when the engine starts to fire. Re-build kits have this part included.
