I am trying to set up a refund key which I wish to assign to department key 7, is anybody aware of the fact that all department keys must be set up or can certain ones just be assigned. I am currently using department keys 1-4 without programming their department status as I only require the till for basic functioning needs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. This model has a refund mode built in which reverses the department automatically.
Just turn the key to the void mode (infinty symbol - like a sideways number 8).
Type the price.
Press the department to refund from.
Press the refund payment method (usually cash)
Then turn the key back to REG mode, and you have refunded.
