Worcester 350 boiler losing time?

My 350 boiler programmer is losing time. Is this a battery replacement problem or do I need to replace the programmer? If I need to replace the programmer is it easy to install?

New programmer.

They aren't too tough to fit but it is a mains electrical connection so strictly speaking needs to be done by someone part P quali'd.
