I bought a Ross TVRCS-R1 universal remote control today and it didn't have any instructions included. I want to program it to a Hitachi C2114T model TV, if anyone has a code and/or remote instructions. Thanks!

I have the ROSS universal remote for Sky+ (TVRCSATPS-RS)so if it's a similar handset this is how to do it..


1. Turn on your TV.
2. Find your TV manufacturer listed in
the code list. e.g. Phillips is 0944.
3. Hold down [select] and the red
button together for about two
seconds, until the red LED on the
remote flashes twice.
4. Press [TV] again.
5. Key in the four digit code for your
brand of TV. The LED on the remote
control will flash twice. If the LED
illuminates only once, re-check the
code for your brand of TV and start
again at step 3.
6. Press the [Power] button on your
remote control. If your TV switches
off, press [select]. The LED on the
remote control will flash twice. If your
TV does not switch off, press [TV],
then press the [Power] button.
Repeat this (press [TV), then [Power])
until your TV turns off, then press
[Select].

if you go to the manufacturers website that made the remote contol. you can usually get there product and a link which takes you to the instructions. hope this is of some use to you.good lcuk
