hi i have a 311cdi sprinter van 51 reg and my heater has stoped getting warm there is enough water in the engine i have tied the flap shut as the switch will not close it any more could this be the thermostat that is stuck if so where is it located thanks kieron

yes it could be thermostat stuck open it is located on pass side of engine under fuel filter if you are going to change it make sure you get a new gasket you can test first iif you want on the stat will be the temp it opens at get a jug and thermometor and heat up as req
