Zanussi jetsystem 1400 how to change the pump?

Hi

When it comes to the point to drain the water it just stoppes and doesn't do anything. So I have to drain it manually and afterwards it workes till the point to drain the water. Is the pumb blocked or is it brocken?
How do I change the pump?

Many thanks

Hi

About the pressure switch: Is it the round black one with 3 wires or the big round red on with 6 wires?
About the pump: How do I remove the cover it looks to me that the whole cover is in 1 piece?

Thanks
Joe

Check the pressure switch -the system that determines correct water level in the drum. Its a round item about 3 inches across with several wires connected, it sits under the top cover. Its an air operated switch which tells the machine water has reached the correct level. Disconnect the thin rubber pipe from the switch and blow down through it to clear any blockage. Switch itself may be faulty but its more likely the pressure pipe is blocked.
Pump removal: power off, remove cover, locate pump, (attached to other end of drain pipe).undo 2 wiring connections, 2 hose connections, and pump mounting screws. Remove pump chamber - some are held in with screws, others clip into place. Check for foreign objects round the impeller. If pump chamber is clear, may be a fault with the pump motor - in which case, replace.
