The element is located inside the front panel of the machine
the screws that hold it together are not all the same, remember which ones go where.
remove the top of the machine
remove the soap drawer and take out the 4 screws behind
loosen the screw on the control knob and remove the 2 screws behind
you can now remove the fascia panel. if there are switches on your fascia, I usually leave it to dangle at this point
open the door and remove the plastic clip holding the door retainer, and remove the retainer.
peel back the door seal
remove the 2 screws holding the door interlock
look for the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel, and remove them
look for the 3 screws at the top of the front panel, and remove them
you can now remove the front panel.
Hey presto !!! it's staring at you, should be behind a black cover, bottom centre of the drum.
if you have access to a multimeter, the element should read approx 30 ohms if you want to check it. (with the connecting wires removed)
loosen the 10mm nut to the end of it's thread and using a large flat screwdriver prize out the old element.
make sure the new one is fully inserted before tightening, when tightening do not overtighten as you can crack the front panel.
as Haynes used to say re-assembly is reversal of removal
