I tried to clean my dishwasher by taking the filter out, since i have done this my dishwasher starts by rinsing and then blows the electrics. Can anyone please help

My dishwasher is a built in Diplomat Dishwasher not sure on the model, i did undo the screws to take the whole unit out to clean. Do you know if it is an expensive job to have fixed, or would it be better to just buy a new one. Really appreciate your help many thanks once again.

Hi Graham, can you supply the make and preferably the model so the relevant engineer can help you.Did you undo any screws while getting the filter out or poke it with a screwdriver etc.It sounds like the machine is leaking in the base and tripping the rcd.All the best.
