How do I change documents so that I can read them?
I use Microsoft Word, not sure what other info you would need.

What sort of documents? do you mean other word processor files for instance OpenOffice.org ?
Your best bet maybe to use OpenOffice.org for all your office needs as it can also read Microsoft documents as well.
