Creda Simplicity Condenser Tumble Dryer - T622CW?

My tumble dryer has stopped heating up. The drum still goes around so the motor and fuse is ok. I have already replaced the heater element and the thermostats. It appears as though the on/off button is now not clicking - could this be the reason?

Danny - I am looking to buy this part but a bit confiused on what you mean by 'contact switch' . Is this something inside the on/off button or replacement of the on/off button? e.g. would I buy...
- a chamber switch
- the button option
- an on/off switch
Hopes this makes sence!

thanks I will give that a go and see what happens!

Could be a burnt out contact in the switch...replacement with a good one only way to see.
