It was suggested that the flue may be blocked, this was'nt the case but as I removed the room sealed cover the boiler fired up, as soon as I replaced the cover the burner went out, fan kept running, no fault led's showing just won't fire up, now with cover off boiler constantly fires up but swithes on and off constantly ?? can you help

1: you shouldnt be taking the cover off unless deemed competent

2: you must not be competent or you'd know the problem as soon as you'd done what you done.

3: this is how people are killed. what if you find the problem and put back in to operation a appliance which has faulted elsewhere and is now lethal?

we face a 15 year stretch if we mess up.
