Model SC 104 hand held steam clearner after one use, the lid cannot be removed to re-fill with water. What is your company going to do about this. This is not the first complaint, back in May, 2008 another was launched.

Please advise with a solution.

Ah - now the lady did actually say please but it was the sort of please that's teemining with hidden threat - an unspoken "or-else" - the kind of please that only an angry mother in law can deliver.

People who can't be bothered to say PLEASE to voluntary helpers shouldn't get all hot and bothered when no one answers.
Hand held steam cleaners are a waste of time anyway. Take it back and ask them to exchange it for 400ml of elbow grease

Peccavi is right this is not a complaints department,have you TRIED pushing down and unscrewing anti-clockwise after releasing the pressure!

Not been answered because either nobody knows or nobody cares - take the matter up with the vendor (the people you gave your money to).

Lids usually unscrew; nearly all anticlockwise - or lift up on hinges - some, like pressure cookers, rotate and lift. Are you using the right technique - enough force?

No need to get all steamed up about this problem on here - it's for freely given help not for consumer complaints. Elaine has been very patient.
