miele g645 SC plus?

I seem to have the same problem as a previous poster. My dishwasher has a ventilation bit on the front and it makes squeaky/chokey noises and then when it stops and i pull the door down a small amount of water comes out of the vent....????

Switch the machine off at the mains.
Take off the lower (metal) part of the front cover by undoing the screws which hold it in place. You will see a black rubber pipe about a foot long and running diagonally across the front of the now exposed innards. Remove it and blow through it. It will contain gunk (usually oil/fat which has congealed at the low temps). Wash the pipe through with warm water, and then reattach it, replace the front cover and all should be well. Cost me £90 to find that out. Works like a treat every time. Clearing the fan vent may help too, as described above.

Same happens to me from time to time, have found can clear vent by removing white disk on inside of door (located behind vent) by using a blunt instrument in slot can move/'unscrew' in anticlockwise direction, then clear out any obvious debris and see if stuff in 'slot' which presumably is a drain. Then replace cover, should clear I hope.
