flashing lights on Diplomat adp8242?

Hello can someone please help me, the ECO light on my diplomat ADP 8242 is flashing and just wont budge. I have read the advice about pressing the button 4 times, but still nothing, and read that there is a black cover that needs taking off, I have removed the kick plate and the metal front, but still cant find it, if anyone can help it would be most appreciated

Thanks Foxy, thats why I cant find the black cover then, the door has been fine, do you know whether I could replace the pcb whatever one of those are myself or would I have to get an engineer in.
Thanks

Hi Rachel, no your machine was made by Smeg so there is no black cover. If there is only the one light, then there is no error. It may be that the pcb has failed electronically and would have to be replaced or it could be the door lock is broken and it will not change programmes as it thinks the door is still shut.have you had trouble opening and closing the door recently?.If so you will need anew control panel, they are quite reasonable at approx £35 plus vat and postage.Hope this helps, All the best.
