""demo mode" JVC KD G331?

My JVC KD G331 car cd/radio always goes into demo mode after about 15 seconds. How can I stop it and stay in my selected equaliser mode?

Press and hold the "SEL" button for a few seconds. Scroll through the menu untill you find DEMO then rotate the vol control left and right to turn it on/off.
