My Mira Sprint 8.5w shower unit has stopped working, the low flow light appears and there is no water coming out the plumber says it is not the plumbing what is the problem?

depending how old it is older version 1998 2000 problem will be pilot valve assembly part number 419.87 newer version 2000+ will be flow valve assembly part number 417.50 ring shower services 0161 761 7686
