Plumbing?

our tank is lower than the kitchen sink. We have fitted a Stuart Turner pump to the bathroom and the pressure there is great. We have just fitted small bore duo mono bloc taps to the kitchen and and there is no hot water coming through. If we turn the bathroom taps on then the hot water will come through the kitchen tap. Do we need to fit another pump in the kitchen.

please disregard statement in answer below its too late at night and heads not working I was thinking cold water. you are not triggering the flow or pressure switch on your pump try lower the set pressure or talk to someone about maybe fitting a parellel switch onthe line to the new taps. sorry about the confusion

no your kitchen tap must be supplied from the mains not through a tank for hygene purposes so the pressure should be fine if you do this
