worester heat slave 9.24?

my boiler is not working the plumber that came said it was the fan but said he cant get the part,and that i would need to get a new boiler!can u give me some advice asap???

I am a service engineer and have found that fans for this boiler are now obsolete there is a company on the web who will repair fans as long as it is just the bearings that need changing but any thing else cannot be repaired.
my advice is to get a new new boiler fitted by someone who comes recommended

looks like he may be correct as this boiler is on a reduced parts list it ceased production in 1989 !! u might get lucky if u persist ,but taking the age of the boiler into consideration it may be worth getting it changed
