I have an older laptop that is primarily used in the kitchen to download recipes. I have highspeed internet service but its painfully slow even at startup. what can I do to speed things up a bit?

Don't Worry It Wont Delete anything important it deletes unesecery back up files temporary internet folders and stuff like that or there is a different program called ccleaner but tune up utilities is better

sounds like you need to do a disk clean go to :start....then go to control panel..go to..performance and maintenance and do a disk clean up.itl clean your disk and free up space.also try and delete any files u dont need free as much memory as possible get rid of all your temp internet files too i the tools menu go to internet options itl give u options there also empty your recycle bin your recycle bin can take up a lot of memory on yor c d and e drive
