Epson C66 lights flashing red?

My printer has stopped working and now the ink and paper light are alternativley flashing red. I did have a warning flashing up before that saying that the printer needed servicing, is this built in redundancy???

I don't know how we can use the "resetting program" when the printer won't stay turned on

Download & install SSC Service Utility.
Open application, set your printer model.
Close main window,a little printer icon drops into the system tray.Right click icon select Extras>Soft reset.
Turn off printer,turn back on again.All should now be rosey in the garden.It worked for me anyway!
