It's an Indesit Eco 900, a few years old, and it fills slowly with water even when switched off and not in use? I phoned a couple of repairers and they said it was a faulty valve, another said a faulty tap! Which is it and how do I fix it? Each want a £50 call out charge for starters............
Is it easy to repair or should I shop around for a second hand machine. I'm very hard up!!

replace the cold water valve. Not an expensive item.
As a temporary measure, turn off the cold tap when machine isnt in use.
