Hi there I have just swaped over a K reg diesel engine and now it won't start. I have timed up the engine i.e put pegs in to fuel pump and camshaft also set crank so woodruf key was 12 o'clock. Engine turns fine no rattles bangs but just won't fire? I read in another question something about a high pressure nut being too tight where is it on the injector pump as I undid a large nut to seperate the fuel filter from the injector pump. I hope it is simple as i am now on my second day of swaping loads of bits over. Regards Simon

i've filled the filter, bled the injectors, the diesel flow seems fine, it just wont start.

Hi the engine is banana inlet. The fuel pump is mechanical ie run by the engine not electrical. Does my timing seem ok?

loosen one injector line see if fuel sprays out,is filter full of fuel,are u installing a epic engine or standard bunch of bananas. does engine have lift pump on side of engine block
