zanussi 1600 won't drain?

I cleaned the filter out and set to re-wash but it stopped at the same point in cycle i.e. when it should drain. Machine gets a lot of use is it time for a new one or can this be fixed?

ps it's currently full of water and washing!

Hey is this anita palatzi? We must stop meeting like this.
Drain machine by running the outlet pipe into a bucket at floor level or run the outlet pipe out of the back door if it'll reach. Disconnect pump from sump hose and check for obstruction in either item. Pump removal: power off, remove cover, locate pump, (attached to other end of drain pipe).undo 2 wiring connections, 2 hose connections, and pump mounting screws. Remove pump chamber - some are held in with screws, others clip into place. Check for foreign objects round the impeller. If pump chamber is clear, may be a fault with the pump motor - in which case, replace it.
