Hi, it could be there is water in the base,it could be the air break/filler on the right is blocked.This then over fills the machine and brings in the flood switch or the recirc motor may not be starting so it over fills.I would put my money on the air break being blocked.take off the silver front base cover and look at the right hand side filler with a torch.It is the blue plastic unit.If you can see sludge in the lower half then it will need replacing.All the best.
