ford transit oil light?

hi, weve got a ford transit 2004 & the oil light flickers, its got plenty of oil in it. any ideas what it could be? i think it may be a sensor of some sort,many thanks lee

if it is front wheel drive, check the wiring from switch, it rubs on back of starter motor, repair and reposition.
