shower shock!!!?

I have a 6 month old aquatronic 2 unit that is showing a plus voltage (239v) on the water feed pipe and a voltage can be found on the hose to the head , when switched on. any advise?

No offence or anything but how, if you're the homeowner did you come to realise your shower is giving 240v through the water supply pipe and hose. I personally wouldnt go in the shower with a multi meter just to check, id turn it on and jump in???????????????????????????????????????????

You are lucky to be alive - all your pipes should be earth bonded - seek professional help immediately (an electrician) contact the authoirities to bring case against the installer.
