How to fix GROHEDAL button on the wall?

The flush button on the wall above the pan has come off. It appears that the orignal fix on the wall was with the help of glue. The water is flushing properly but the button plate is hanging loose from where it was fixed before. Any ideas how do I fix back the plate on the wall? I want a permanent solution.
