My sony stereo receiver (str-d3654) says " protect"?

My sony FM stereo receiver str-d365 says "protect" win i turn it on and wont do inything. What is wrong and how do i fix it

Some times due to heavy load,system's IC gets heated up or burns.So the display shows 'protect' always.You have to rectify the IC by an authorised person.
