how do i get my radiators to work?

The boiler is on,the water getting nice and hot,the radiator in the bathroom works fine and yet the rest of the radiators around the house will not heat up.Why?

Have they got Thermostatic valves on them? And how old are they?
These can be removed from the radiator without the water pouring out! If the radiator then becomes hot then it is a faulty thermostatic valve. If it still doesn't come hot then get a pair of pliers and pull up the thin pin that was exposed from removing the valve. The pins can get stuck down. I've just had this done on my radiators and they are now working great!

Seriously, its possibly the pump.Is the rad in the bathroom upstairs. If it is its getting the water due to gravity. You need to find the pump and see if it is just humming. If it is give it a gentle tap on the head to see if you can spur it into action. The pump gets full of sludge during the summer when it has barely been used.

because they are blocked and full of rust.

Get a drill and make a small hole in the biggest radiator and drain out the horrible water and air, then put something over the hole to stop it leaking like radiator repair sealer or just some blu tak will do
