Machine showing f4 and the pump keeps making a noise as if its trying to start a cycle even when i've turned the power off!!! can anyone help.

Hi Karen, there must be water in the base of the machine where the motor is.Turn off all power at the sockets,take off the plinth and then the outer base cover.look inside and drain any water off.The machine should reset now.If it keeps filling with water,it will be an engineer visit to trace and repair the leak.All the best.
