Descaling solution from delonghi is v exspensive, can i use a diluted vinegar solution, as used in my old Briel

yes ...sure ...vinegar or acetic acid from the supermarket ...make sure you dilure it at least 1:10 parts and there is always lemon juice as the last gap option which is natural and cheap and readily available
