to replace the hard drive in any computer you must first remove the case/side panel. then you will see the hard drive it is mounted on the superstructure of the computer and it has a large gray cable going to it along with two other cables. it is fastened to the superstructure either by two screws or a tab that you can pull to release the hard drive from the computers superstructure. and to install the new hard drive just follow the steps you did to remove the old one in reverse of how you removed the old hard drive.
