how do i replace handle

yours has gone too huh? It would be nice if they replaced cheaply as its not up to the job but this bit of plastic is £25-£35! Does anyone know of a cheap alternative, either pattern part or making one from scratch with a bit of ally angle iron?

Usually you open the door and undo screws either on top and underneath.Dont take the door off completely as some have nuts on the other side that you cant get to and they drop off inside the oven.Some oven doors have the retaining screws located behind the door seal.Once you have managed to pull the front part of the door away from the back you should be able to see the retaining nuts inside that are holding the door on.Replace the handle then carry out the reverse.
