Astra 97 1.4 - front brakes?

I have replaced front pads and bled system but brake pedal is very spongy. Any ideas?

Thanks. That might be the case. Is there any way to repair it or does this mean anew master cylinder?

if you forced pads back ,without letting excess fluid out of caliper bleed nipples,poss damaged brake master cylinder seals,.seals flip when fluid is forced backward thru system.assuming you are sure brakes are air free
