AIWA CX-NA31 Cannot adjust volume?

My NA31 volume will not go up beyond 3. Have tested with head phones, same problem. How can I mend? Thanks in advance.

same issue. i simply adjust the volume dial clockwise VERY, VERY slowly and it responds. be patient. when i turn unit off/on, the volume resets at '16'.
