How can I replace the glass on the front of my Garmin etrex Vista HCx?

I tripped and knocked my GPS against a rock, damaging the glass screen. I need to replace the glass and re-seal it. It looks do-able if I can flip the old glass out with a knife or something.

It is a Garmin etrx Vista HCx. Just a few weeks old.

I did this to my Garmin 250... It's really great, and I've had it for over a year, but the last time I went to use it, I stuck to my windshield while I went in the house to grab some last minute stuff for the trip, and when I came back to the car I found it on broken on the floor of my car. The LCD screen isn't broken, just the glass in between. I can't even manage to get the screws out to take the damned thing apart!!! How do you remove such small screws that aren't sized for a regular tool? And once you DO get it apart, what do you replace the glass with?
