Is it worth trying to fix my Asko ASEA 1502 dishwasher?

I have no idea how old my dishwasher is because it came with the house, but not with the manual. I turn it off completely between cycles because it makes strange noises at random times when not actually running (or when the light switch or garbage disposal is flipped on or off!). Now, it makes very strange noises when running through a wash cycle and is not getting the dishes clean. Today when I opened it there was detergent all over the inside of the door like it dribbled down instead of actually being used for washing. Is there something I can do or is it time to give up and get a new one?

Hello Sheri.
First I wanna say, that model is awesome, it works great and is silent...and should defenitly be repaired if possible.
I live in Qc, canada and have all u might need for repair...
maybe u dont even need any peice, only a good cleanup (filters and hoses)
I need more detail on sounds, troubles...also, Are you far way?
