Right. This is discounting by amount which is available on this machine. Believe it or not, the percentage discount buttons can be set as amount by programming.
We will need to see how they have been setup so far.
In reg mode, ring on an item, then type 10 and press %1 button. See whether it takes 10 percent or 10 cents off of the amount. Also do this with the %2 button and tell me what the results are, then i can help with programming.
