use a clean and dry cloth to wrap around the whole necklace, try to make the strand dry by several times. don't use any heating machine, they would hurt the pearls

I hope so. I wear 2 strings of pearls (cultured freshwater) 24/7 and have done for several years (I get them restrung and sometimes alternate them with other strings of pearls)- work, play, sleep, shower and bath. My wife chose the pearls so I am fairly careful with the stringing - I just wear them and they are part of me and my life. I havent had problems and I hope you dot
